The world is filled with crazy new clothes that sesrve no purpose and here is my opinion.

I'm not sure who is keeping up with fashion as of late but some of the newer things have turned out to be downright ridiculous. I mean, I don't need jeans that are just shorts with the seams hanging down or pants that are clear. Also, why are all of the new hideous fashion trends so expensive?

I hardly want to drop $30 at Forever 21 when I actually need clothes (as do most young people) so what makes designers think that we want to spend over $1000 on some poor, crappy version of the most basic clothing item.

With all of the strict dress codes and small budgets of their youth target market, why do they continue to design stuff that is expensive and revealing? why do they continue to design stuff that is expensive and revealing?

The item that got me started on this topic was this shirt from Balenciaga which is $1,290 might I add. First off, the base shirt is bad in itself then to sew on an even uglier shirt on top makes me want to buy this 1000% less that I would have before.

I just want to know where they got the unicorn to weave its hairs into the fabric because I KNOW that a basic tee shirt and button up together are not over $1,000. I just don't understand.

How about spending $100 on these CLEAR I repeat CLEAR jeans? I think not. If I have to wear shorts or pants under my pants that just isn't right. Why would I waste all this money on these ugly pants if I could just go to Wal-Mart and buy Saran Wrap for so much cheaper?

They don't even look comfortable. If you get hot, they are going to start fogging up and then they are just going to stick to you. Please tell me what part of this sounds appealing enough to buy these as a serious, everyday purchase.

I dare any of you to go Google absurd fashion trends and you can find so many and it will always be at some insane price. I just want to know why it is so expensive!!! Please, world, explain.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
