The ABS-olutely Amazing Shower Workout

What better time to start getting into shape than now? You have a whole six months to work on that summer body you always wanted and why not start your New Year's Resolution early? It doesn't matter if you have never been to the gym or if you go every day, these workouts can easily fit into the lives of anyone from the busy worker to the laziest of Netflix-and-chillers. You will only thank yourself later because you have nothing to lose (except, maybe those love handles).

The ABS-olutely Amazing Shower Workout

What is more productive than working out and showering at the same time? This workout is easy enough to do in the shower or anywhere else, and leaves you with tighter abs that will thank you later!

Standing Crunch

Place your feet about shoulder length apart, bend your knees, and position your hands behind your head as if you were to do crunches. Bend forward targeting your abs until your back is flat, then return to starting position.

Standing Oblique Crunch

Stand with your feet shoulder length apart, a little bend in your knees, and hands at your side while you engage your core. As you bend to the side reach your hand to your foot (do not touch your foot) and then return to center and repeat on the other side. As you do this exercise keep a flat back. You do not need weights for this exercise.

Standing Twist

Stand up straight, feet shoulder-width apart. Instead of weights, you can just hold your hands out in front of you. Engage your core as you twist your trunk to one side, then return to center and repeat on the other side.

Standing Cross Body Crunch

Stand with legs shoulder width apart, with a slight bend in your knees. Put your hands behind your head as you would for a normal lying down crunch. Engage your core as you lift one knee to the opposite elbow, then return to starting position and repeat on the opposite side.

And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
