What I Miss About Being A Child
Blogspot

As a child, I couldn't wait to grow up. For some reason, having a car and a job and being in college sounded so appealing. However, now that I'm here, I'm starting to realize that being older isn't all that it was hyped up to be and adulting is not as fun as I was expecting. I miss a lot about my childhood, but here are a few things I miss the most.

1. Not having endless amounts of homework.

2. Being entertained by the smallest things.

3. Not having to worry about money.

4. I didn't have to worry about what I wore.

5. I could sleep as much as I wanted.

6. I didn't know what make-up was.

7. I had perfect skin.

8. I somehow knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life.

9. I could eat whatever I want.

10. The biggest drama was over issues on the playground at school.

11. I wasn't worried about failing a class because I just couldn't stay up any later trying to complete an assignment.

12. My mom did my laundry.

13. I didn't have to worry about buying my own food.

14. Social media wasn't even a thing in my little world.

15. Not having to deal with terrible drivers.

16. Not knowing what bills were and that some day I would have to pay them.

17. Seeing the best in the people of the world.

18. Ice cream in class every Friday.

19. Naps during school.

20. Not having to work.

21. Good cartoons.

22. The birthday parties.

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
