A poem about my trip to Italy last spring.
"Firenze"
Walking through narrow streets of cobblestone,
Feeling content being all alone,
Drinking espresso so strong
And eating pizza slices so long.
Watching men on gondolas rowing away,
Feeling the warm sunshine on my face.
Cypress trees and the smell of leather,
Breathing in the perfect weather.
Italian natives speaking in their tongue with a smile,
Makes me wanna stay for a while.
Gelato so creamy your body will melt,
No crimes for anyone to tell.
Strong wine,
and days of pasta to dine.
There's nothing in wrong in this perfect world,
Get me a job here and I'm sold.
