Love your family. No matter what. Trials may push you around and test your patience with one another, but remember God put you together for a reason!

Be prepared. For anything. Have a bag packed: Your Bible, extra clothes, emergency money, a flashlight with working batteries, first aid kit, water bottle, a notebook, pens and pencils! Keep one of these in your house, easy to access. You never know when disaster may strike, and this is a way to be ready, and not be fearful.

Favorite coffee? Love on your sweet local restaurants and shops! You know you love it, and they love seeing you!

Scrolling through old photos of sweet memories is such a sweet time. Enjoy times with friends when you're with them!

Lastly, be yourself! God made you special, so don't try to be anyone else!

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper?
