1. Money
Even if you're not a broke college kid, I think we could all appreciate some extra spending money. A lot of us are not used to being on our own without having our parents money. I try to save as much as possible from what I make from my job, but I would still agree that I am a very broke college kid.
2. Target gift card
Let's be real, who doesn't love Target? They have absolutely everything, so it's always my go-to store when I need something.
3. Phone Wallets
You can spot most college kids with a phone pocket on the back of their phone to hold their credit cards and I.D. These things are usually made very cheaply, and I've already gone through 4 this year. They're not very expensive which makes them easy to stock up on.
4. Adult coloring books
Coloring is super stress relieving and finishing a coloring page is one of the most satisfying things. Adult coloring books usually include several different designs which make it even more fun. These books typically run pretty cheap and are great for sharing.
5. Box fan
The temperature in a dorm room can change daily. Some days my dorm feels hot, and other days it's the tundra. A box fan or any fan at all can make a significant difference.
6. Toaster
The closest thing I have to a toaster is the oven on the floor above me. You might not think you would need or even want a toaster but having bread, bagels, or waffles in the pantry and not being able to toast them is a struggle.
7. Water filter
Depending on the person, some people may not mind drinking directly out of the sink but for those who do, having a water filter is the best.
8. Uber gift cardsĀ
Uber can be very convenient but also very expensive. Uber make after a night out, it's used to go grocery shopping or to get to the airport. An uber gift card is a convenient gift.
Consider these eight gifts while thinking about what to get a college student this Christmas.
