A Date We All Know But Will Never Forget.

A Date We All Know But Will Never Forget.

Everyone in America was affected by one date, 4 terrorist attacks, and 19 terrorists.

It's clear to say that no one in America will ever be the same after being aware of such a tragedy that happened in our country.

It was an early morning, around 8-9 a.m. when so many peoples' lives started falling apart. Our country has gone through many great losses, many tragedies, and many heartbreaks but by far this was the most traumatic. At 8:45 a.m., the first plane went through one of the NYC World Trade Centers, the 2nd plane hitting roughly 20 minutes later.

Many thought and prayed there would be no more, but unfortunately, there was. The Pentagon was then targeted and hit in the west wing.

A fourth plane later crashed into a field in Pennsylvania, having been averted from its planned destination by the passengers who took heroic steps against the hijackers, sacrificing their own lives for the lives of others.

2,977 people in our country were killed that day.

As, of course, everyone knows the story of how America was forever changed, I thought it pertinent to give everyone a reminder of how many losses of life occurred that day.

This day brings reminders of loss and great emotion, does not come easy and truly never will. The lives of many people I know were affected in a much deeper connection than my own. My heart will always be touched by their stories, their pain, and their memories they will live with the rest of their lives.

9/11, a day we will never forget, and a day that changed America forever.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
