The 90's were all that, as we all know by now. So many great things originated from the 90's like Fanny packs, Nintendo 64, AOL, Cd Players, Pokemon, Bop It, The Disney Renaissance Era (Lion King, Mulan, Pocahontas, Aladdin, Tarzan), and all those great cartoons. We all at some point had at least 1 or 2 characters we aspired to be like growing. Tommy from the Rugrats and Arnold from Hey Arnold, were hands down my two favorite characters and I always wanted to be like them. A bit weird or crazy I know but think about it, Tommy always had a courageous mindset and Arnold handled everything with ease. Who in their right mind would not want to be like these characters growing up?

1. Uncle Jesse - Full House

Who didn't want to be the cool uncle? Jesse had everything we thought adult life would be from the hair, the fashion style and even the musician skills. And just went you thought Uncle Jesse couldn't have anything else he had all the ladies. Let's just all agree and say that Uncle Jesse was lit.

2. Will Smith - The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Between the iconic fashion styles worn on the shoe, that unforgettable theme song or even the life lessons that were shared on that shoe you can not help to have enjoyed The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Especially Will, no matter what was happening Will found away to make us laugh.

3. Angelica Pickles - The Rugrats

Angelica was popping on the playground, and I do mean poppin', she had everything a toddler could ever wanted and the her little baby cousin and his friends todo whatever she wanted for her. Now Angelica was harsh, but she had it all. What kid growing up didn't want to have babies around to do everything they wanted or needed? I know I wanted my own little flock of babies to boss around as a toddler.

4. Johnny Bravo - Johnny Bravo

Johnny Bravo, the ionic model want to be cartoon. Honestly who didn't admire Johnny, from the hair and muscle and the ionic pickup lines. Johnny was the 90's.

5. Zack Morris - Saved By The Bell

Zack was the character who had it all, expect the part of a clean record through out school. Zack constantly stayed in trouble in school, but had the best friends in school. While watching saved by the bell I could imagine my life in high school being very similar to Zack's life.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
