Sitting at my desk, here, interning. It's a Monday, life is rough, I know. I'm sick of looking at the news, and Facebook has bored me to a whole new level. But there are a few ways to make your life more entertaining, and your coworkers will be sure to thank you. I promise, this is worth clogging up the company wifi to stream some music (disclaimer: do what your boss tells you, not what I tell you...but really, do this). Nothing conquers the Monday morning blues than these jams from the 90's.

1. Absolutely (Story of a Girl) - Nine Days

You know what to do.

2. Semi-Charmed Life - Third Eye Blind

Duh.

3. Seasons of Love - RENT

525,600 minutes. Didn't ever picture the lyrics like that, did you?

4. My Own Worst Enemy - Lit

Not just because Lit was lit and we shall never forget it, but also because it brings back the adrenaline that raced through your veins during Guitar Hero nights. *yellow yellow yellow green yellow green red green yellow green*

5. What's My Age Again? - blink-182

That's right. This Monday is so rough, you're not even sure what your age is. Blink is here to help you.

6. She's So High - Tal Bachman

Challenge your coworkers to hit that high note, my money's on you.

7. Breakfast At Tiffany's - Deep Blue Something

Be careful, this one might just remind you that you're hungry for breakfast.

8. Lovefool - The Cardigans


This one goes out to all those people who don't know what to do with their hands when they dance.

9. Wonderwall - Oasis

Okay, it's 3:00. You and your coworkers have started to slightly lose your minds...put this one on. It's okay to rock out.

Another challenge to offer or accept. How many verses do you know? And what is Johnny doing tonight?

Yep.

12. Crash Into Me - Dave Matthews Band

Because everyone loves at least one song by Dave.

You've got to really be warmed up for this one. You can make it through the end of your day with this one.

14. Closing Time - Semisonic

Last hour of work listening to this will have you dancing, for sure.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
