I’ve got Halloween on the brain, and of course with this holiday comes a sweet tooth. Let’s look at some scary good treats from the 90s that we may have forgotten all about!
Runts were the only way our young bodies could consume “fruits” without making our parents proud. These candies were available for a quarter a handful at almost any gas station, hair salon, or the like.
The Wonder Ball was truly a wonder. Chocolate, Nickelodeon, AND candy? After making it through the chocolate shell, candies and goods awaited us inside.
Push Pop was one of the classics. This re-sealable pop had a cap and clip, so we could attach it to our backpacks and keep going.
Squeeze Pop’s were a messy, guilty pleasure. Why get goo-filled candy when you can just buy the goo?
The Baby Bottle Pop lollipop and powder duo, mimicking a baby’s bottle, was almost as well known as it’s catchy TV jingle.
Chiclets combined bubble gum with extra fun. If you were anything like me, you had Chiclet teeth more than one time throughout your childhood.
My personal favorite, the LollyPop Paint Shop, was another lollipop and powder duo. This one was mimicking a paintbrush and gallon of paint.
The 90s were a great time for clothes, hair, television, AND candy! Sorry for the nostalgia, guys!
