As we were growing up, some of the greatest songs of all time were being played. Think this is just a coincidence? Doubtful. Looking back on it, these are the best songs from that period (sorry if some of them will get stuck in your head now):
“Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer, 1990. Once you hear this song once, you can't get out of your head. There is no way you can't dance when this song comes on.
“Black or White" by Michael Jackson, 1991. Michael Jackson's songs are all amazing, but this one was very passionate for him and one of his best songs from the album Dangerous.
“Walking In Memphis" by Marc Cohn, 1991. This song may not be as famous as the others, but if you listen to it, you will definitely recognize it. It has awesome piano parts in it.
“Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot. 1992. The classic line: “Oh, my, God. Becky, look at her butt."
“I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred, 1992. No one can deny that they have sang this song when they are feeling great about themselves.
“What is Love" by Haddaway, 1993. “What is love? Baby, don't hurt me, don't hurt me no more" is most definitely the best part of this song.
“My Heart Will Go On" by Kenny G, 1994. This song is most known as the theme from Titanic. Can't deny that I've tried to bust out this song before, but it's out of my range.
“All I Wanna Do" by Sheryl Crow, 1995. This song was the winner of the 1995 Grammy Record of the Year. The most famous line may be “All I wanna do is have some fun."
“Oasis" by Wonderwall, 1995. This song is a classic and may even be emotional for some people.
“Wannabe" by Spice Girls, 1996. This is the ultimate 90s song. There is no shame when you sing every single word to this song with your crew because “if you wanna be my lover, you've gotta get with my friends."
“Genie in a Bottle" by Christina Aguilera, 1997. Everyone knows this song. It's one of Aguilera's best songs of her career.
“I Want it That Way" by Backstreet Boys. 1999. We all know this song very well. We love to sing along when this song comes on.
“Hit Me Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears, 1999. Britney Spears was such a big part of our childhood, how can you not love this song.
