We all know how stressful finals week can be. It can honestly be one of the longest weeks for all of us. There are a handful of things you can try to take some of the stress off. Here are some ways to get your mind off of things for a little bit. Take a break and try some of these while you're cramming in your studying.
1. Go for a walk.
Taking a stroll in the middle of studying is a very nice way to clear your head for a bit. It's very relaxing.
2. Take a shower/bath.
Baths have always been a way to unwind and relax. If you don't have access to a bathtub, a hot shower is just as good when you're stressed.
3. Use a face mask.
There are super cheap face masks pretty much anywhere. They are not hard to find at all. Take advantage of them!
4. Take a nap.
I know that studying is important, but overload isn't a good idea either. Take a 30 minute nap and then continue.
5. Grab a coffee.
Maybe after the said nap, you could go for a little jumpstart. Go get a coffee to wake yourself up.
6. Finish a page of a coloring book.
Adult coloring books have become a huge thing lately. They are said to help out with stress, so why not give it a try.
7. Go get breakfast/lunch/dinner.
If you're losing focus while studying, you might need some food to reenergize yourself. Go get some food.
8. Listen to your favorite album.
Music is always a nice escape from whatever might be going on. Take a little break from studying and jam out for a bit.
9. Play a game.
Whether it be a video game or a board game, it's good enough to take away some stress for a while. Play a game for a bit in between studying.
