1. Smile. That’s right, smiling. Right when you wake up give your best, teeth-showing smile to the world. This may sound silly but it really helps you start the day off right and happier!
2. Do sit-ups. This also may sound silly but this will help wake you up (better than coffee!) and will help get yourself moving for the day, not to mention those killer abs that will appear. But on a serious note doing this will release a chemicals called endorphins. Endorphins if you don’t know help trigger a positive feeling in your body which in return makes you happy!
3. Drink something! After waking up drink something and drink at least oz of it. Try to make it water or orange juice but coffee and tea works too!
4. Look in the mirror. Give yourself a look in the mirror and give yourself a compliment. Tell yourself you look like the top shit for the day, smile in the mirror and compliment your smile, or turn around and look at your ass. You are a wonderful, unique, and beautiful person and you deserve the compliments so why not start off giving yourself one!
5. Eat! Even if you are one of those people who don’t like eating in the morning, just do it! Try the smallest grape on the vine if you need to but get something in your stomach! You won’t regret it. This will give you energy for the day and energy relates to positivity!
6. Brush your teeth. This also may sound silly to some but brushing your teeth will give you a confidence boost while talking to others. You know you have fresh breath which in turn makes you more confident and more likely to want to talk to others.
7. Send a Good Morning text. No significant other? No problem! Send a good morning text to you best friend, parent, sibling, or even your grandma! Tell them that they mean the world to you, that you appreciate them and that they are the awesomest of the awesome! That’s right that will make you a happier person by spreading positivity and making others feel happy that they were on your mind when you woke up this morning!
8. Think Positive. We have all heard the saying positive attitude, positive outcome! Well they aren’t wrong. Think positive, even in the worst of situations think of the good because that is what will make you are happier person in the long run.
9. Spread the Love. Give people compliments on the street. Tell people to have a great day. Thank people for their hard work. Let people know that you appreciate them. All of these things are important. This is spreading love it doesn’t take much, it is the simple things that people will remember. It is helping your neighbor, giving the person your time and truly caring. This is going to make you happy because you will feel the love as you spread it.
