Autumn officially starts on Friday, September 22. I am so excited for the cooler days, home-cooked meals, and all the fall festivities. So here are 9 ways to prepare for the upcoming Fall season.
1. Get out those warmer clothes
leggings, scarves, sweaters, vests, fuzzy socks. Got to have all the fall necessities.
2. Dust off the boots
3. Purchase all the Pumpkin Spice foods
Pumpkin Spice creamer, coffee, doughnuts, ice cream, marshmallows, Oreos, pop tarts, etc. Eat it all.
4. Also Apples
Apple pie, apple fritters, apple cider, apple cider doughnuts, caramel apples, candied apples. You can even go apple picking. I love apples.
5. Buy a few pumpkins
for decorating or carving... it's really up to you.
6. Catch up on some reading
Fall is really the best time snuggle up with a good book.
7. Bust out the warm colors
Fall is approaching, nows the time to dye your hair a warm brown or red. Maybe paint your nails a pretty autumn color or try a new shade of lipstick.
8. Start your Halloween prep.
Halloween is naturally a part of fall so now is the time to plan your costume, start watching the Halloween movies, and buy your candy corn.
9. Watch the leaves turn
Watch them turn, then fall... and then jump in them!
Yay, Fall!
