9 Ways To Make The Most Of Fall

Although every season has its perks, Fall is a top notch season. There are so many fun activities to do, the weather is prime (not freezing yet, but you're not sweating anymore), and Christmas is just around the corner (AKA literally the best time of the year, in my opinion). Here are some ways to relax, enjoy the autumn around you, and soak up all those fall vibes.

1. Buy Fall Candles- burning these at night will make you feel so fall and cozy with a mug of tea by your side.

Even though Bath & Body Works candles can be pretty pricey, if you catch them on sale they are so worth the price. Hello "Leaves" and "Cranberry Woods." Your room will smell amazing, but always remember to candle with care!

2. Take a nature walk!

No matter where you are, just taking a walk in a park or through a nature trail is a great way to get some exercise, de-stress, and enjoy the beauty of nature as the leaves are changing all around you!

3. Treat yourself to a new fall outfit.

Comfy sweaters, leggings, scarves, and boots are some of the best and most comfortable clothes in my opinion, so treat yourself to a cute new outfit that will give you all the fall feels! You deserve it.

4. Go apple picking!

One of the most classic all-american activities that will really make you feel like #fall. Afterwards you can make a yummy apple crisp or apple pie to enjoy all your hard work!

5. Curl up with a good book.

As the beginning of school craziness is finally starting to settle down, even if you are still stressed, get that book you have been wanting to read and set aside some time to just chill! Your body needs the rest and reading a book you actually want to read is still a great break from actual school work.

6. Binge-watch a new (or old) show with friends.

Since there are some of those gloomy, chilly days in fall, take advantage of them to spend some quality time with your roomies or friends and just relax by enjoying a new show on Netflix! Hello "Stranger Things."

7. Collect and press the leaves.

One of the best part of fall is the changing leaves, so collect a few of your favorites and after they're dry, put them in between wax paper in a large heavy book. Leave them for a few days and then you can make a pretty collage out of them!

8. Hot Cocoa/ Cider Tastings

Go around your town with your friends to all the best cafes/ restaurants and do a taste testing of all the hot cocoas!

9. Watch some classic horror movies.

Or if those don't make you happy, then go for the classic "Halloweentown."

Enjoy!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
