9 Times You Secretly Related To Kevin Malone

" The Office" has been making its viewers belly laugh for eight years now with its quirky characters. Each one is so well developed and portrayed that it’s hard to determine which one you relate to the most. Whether you're more of a Dwight Schrute or Pam Beesly, it's inevitable that your inner Kevin (we all have one) will scream "YES THAT’S ME" to at least one of these classic "Office" moments.

1. When he taught us the importance of "less is more."

Oh, this simple truth. So important- after all, our time is limited. If only my professors used this tactic.

2. When he didn't have time for negativity in his life.

We're all thinking it. If only I had the guts to say it like Kevin.

3. When he just couldn't seem to control his cravings.

As I write this, I am eating cookie dough straight out of the package. But now pie does sound really good...the struggle is so real.

4. When he spent his entire weekend watching TV.

I mean, what else is the weekend for? Definitely not working or studying... I'd rather catch up on my movies, thank you very much.

5. When he voiced the truth on mini cupcakes.

Seriously, I've been thinking this for my entire life. Why do these exist? They're just a cruel joke. The size of those things wouldn't even satisfy a squirrel.

6. When he described a perfect summer day.

Nothing better than that during the scorching months, my friends. I'd pick a hot dog over a bikini body any day.

7. When he understood just how simply amazing tacos are.

I quote this (and unfortunately, reenact it) on every Taco Tuesday. It's the best day of the week!

8. When he listed the truly important things in life.

I have the pizza, soda and moon parts down. But much like Kevin, I'm living that single life-- maybe one day Kevin and I will find our soulmates to share these wonderful things with.

9. And finally, when he literally demonstrated what it's like when life falls apart.

This gif didn't even need a caption. Honestly, nothing has ever described me and my existence better than this. A for effort, right? Thank you, Kevin Malone, for being the realest. We appreciate you.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.
