Thanks to the power of Netflix, fans and new viewers alike have the ability to binge watch “How I Met Your Mother” (HIMYM) anytime. Over the course of nine seasons, the "How I Met Your Mother" cast and crew have made us laugh (the goat on Ted's birthday, Slapsgving, Barney's plays, etc.), but they have made us cry just as much. Let's look back at the times HIMYM broke our hearts.

In case you haven’t seen HIMYM (are you currently under a rock), there are some major spoilers below.

1. At the end of season one, Lily leaves Marshall for San Francisco.

Arguably one of the best TV couples of all time, this breakup hurt to watch. Marshall, crying on the steps in the rain with the ring in his hand--quite the cliffhanger, writers. Thankfully, this heartbreak was not permanent, but it was only the beginning.

2. When Robin and Ted break up

He would have “stolen [her] a whole orchestra.” (I’m not crying, you’re crying.)

3. When Marshall's father dies

Seriously HIMYM writers, what are you doing to us?

4. The time Stella left Ted at the alter

We may have known she wasn’t the mother, and never really liked her, but poor Ted didn’t deserve it.

5. While at a doctor’s appointment, Robin learns she can never have kids.

It was no secret Robin never was interested in having kids, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t hard for her--and for us to watch. (Bonus points to Ted for cheering up Robin with Christmas lights set to ACDC.)

6. When Barney meets his Dad for the first time

and it does not go according to plan at all.

7. The time Ted gave up the opening night of his building to let Robin go after Barney

Robin and Barney get engaged, Lily and Marshall are in a good place, and Ted is alone. (Really writers, Ted doesn’t deserve to enjoy his accomplishment? Couldn't Barney and Robin get engaged the next day?)

8. Midway through the series finale, we learn Robin and Barney get divorced (R.I.P).

Really, Writers? You build up the couple’s wedding for a season, and then divorce them? Couldn't you have devised a different ending?

9. In the last few minutes of the series finale, we learn the mother was dead the whole time.

REALLY? All those seasons, the buildup of an epic love, and you kill the mother off? *Heart on the floor* Where’s the ice cream?

At times, "How I Met Your Mother" can be devastatingly heartbreaking, but in the next breath, you are cracking up--isn't that how life is sometimes?

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
