As we get older, we find the perfect group of true and real friends. There are many reasons for choosing the friends we have, but sometimes, we are just blessed that they fall into our lives.
1. The times they got drunk with you.
During those late nights of many drinks, you stumble around and laugh hysterically with those you love the most. There is no other group of people that you want to be dazed and confused with.
2. The times they cured their hangovers with you.
Some of the best moments were the moments you nursed hangovers over the greasiest food you could find in town. You would sit around a pile of bacon, laughing about the events that took place the night before.
3. The times they let you cry in front of them.
Life can get extremely hard, and opening up to people is not always easy. Your group of friends has seen your heart open and break; even though being vulnerable is uncomfortable, they make it better.
4. The times they comforted you when life was getting too hard.
If it meant getting you ice cream or making you get out of the house when you were stressed, you look back at those moments and realize how you would not have gotten though stressful situations without them.
5. The times they were boring with you on a Friday night.
There are nights where going out doesn't sound too appealing, but your group of friends were in agreement that watching a movie and eating pizza was much better.
6. The times they made you laugh to the point of almost peeing your pants.
There are no better people in the world than the ones who make you laugh.
7. The times they were all too real with you.
When you were not thinking straight, your group of friends were the first to bring you back to reality. You look back at those tough love moments and thank your lucky stars for those amazing people you call your friends.
8. The times they knew you better than you knew yourself.
You become incredibly predictable to them. They know what you are going to do next, and what you are going to say,
9. The times that you looked at them and realized they were your family.
There comes that moment when you're doing the most everyday activity, and it hits you... You look at your friends and realize they have become your family. They are the people you would trust your life with and the people you want to experience everything with. Your friends make up a huge part of who you are, and even though they aren't blood, they might as well be.
