"Are humans just really big dogs?"

9 Things Your Dog Is Thinking Right Now

I think about dogs constantly. My dogs, my friends' dogs, the dog I saw on campus last week that basically made my year the best year ever - all of them are perfect and beautiful creatures. The world does not deserve dogs. Sometimes I wonder if dogs think about me as much as I think about them. That's probably not possible, but they've gotta think about something, right?

1. Here, they're probably thinking, "Who are these strangers and why are they wearing weird full body fuzzy suits? Are they really big dogs?"

2. "Our humans have shoved us in these ridiculous sweaters but they have TREATS!"

3. "Human, I know you did not throw the ball."

4. "Please pet me. I am a good pupper. I am a pupper-in-training."

5. "I am King Pupper."

6. "Why has human grabbed my tongue? I was licking his hand to tell him I love him."

7. "Why is human so close to my face?"

8. "Car rides with my human are the best!"

9. And when you come home from college..."I've missed you, human."

Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
