As I have began my first year at college, I have began to realize how much I miss my friends back home. Friends do not get enough appreciation for how amazing they are so I figured an article was worth telling them. To all my friends out there, thank you for being the wonderful people that you are and so many other reasons!

1. Not judging me even when I do embarrassing things

If I am doing something stupid and totally embarassing both me and you, you just let it happen. No questions asked and no judgement later on.

2. Doing those embarrassing things with me

The good thing about doing it together is we can't judge eachother! If we go down, we go down dancing embarassingly in class together.. that's the quote right?

3. Eating 12 pounds of food with me

Sitting down next to me, cuddling up on the couch about to watch movies and eating everything in sight. Sour patch kids, salt and vinegar chips, chicken nuggets, fries, twizzlers and everything in the house. More importantly, you regret every bite of it with me after it happens but then we do it all over again next weekend.

4. Going on car rides and listening to music with me

Driving aimlessly around and listening to our favorite songs. Not being able to hit that one note in "I will always love you" and doing it anyway, breaking all the windows in the car.

5. Laughing at my stupid jokes, funny or not

Whenever I tell a joke, I always make sure you are around because 9/10 of the times you're the only one to laugh. So thank you, for making me feel better about myself one laugh at a time.

6. Having my back

No matter what, you always have my back. You make sure no one ever hurts me and if they do, they're in trouble.

7. Loving the same show as me

No fights about what to watch on netflix. Just put on "The Office" and we will be entertained for hours.

8. Having dance parties with me

Making new dance moves to a Beyonce song at 1am and wondering why we aren't her background dancers. The answer to that is, we look like turkeys falling down a hill when dancing.

9. Loving me

Most importantly, and to end on a sappy note, you love me no matter what and for that I am forever grateful for. Thank you!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
