The gym. Love it, hate it. Whether you're going this year to help achieve that New Year's resolution or because you can't live a week without working out, here are a few things to remember.
1. Not everyone is a frequent gym-goer, so if someone is looking lost keep the dirty looks to yourself.

2. "New Years Resolutioners" at the gym are not doing anything wrong by being there. They are trying to make healthy lifestyle changes, and that is a positive thing.
3. Everyone works out differently, and different workouts are harder for different people. Worry about your own workout, and no one else's.
4. A slow workout is better than no work out; keep on pushing.
5. Focus on yourself at the gym, rather than checking out others. There is no need to make other gym-goers uncomfortable.
6. The gym does not have a weight limit, so do not poke fun at overweight people working out.
7. Everyone at the gym is working to attain personal goals, so always be respectful towards each other.
8. Your Instagram followers do not need to know that you worked out today, just an FYI.
9. You do not have to own cute work out clothes to get to the gym. Nobody looks good when they're done with a workout anyway.
