FOX News

Hurricane Matthew has hit Haiti, Cuba, the Bahamas, and it is heading straight for the United States. We have seen on the news the devastating damage that Matthew had on Haiti, and all that we can do is wait for it to come to Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. It’s a serious time and waiting for the storm to pass is making everyone who lives in dangerous areas pretty anxious. So what do we do when we are waiting for floods, power outages, and other fun hurricane stuff? We laugh at memes on the Internet.

1. Its been unseasonably warm down south, all we wanted was a nice fall breeze and sweater weather. Not a category 5 Hurricane. Thanks a lot, Mother Nature.

2. Why not make up a conspiracy theory, because when America doesn't like something, we turn it into a elaborate explanation of secrets. So really, Harambe is behind Hurricane Matthew.

3. Here’s another conspiracy theory to get you thinking. It all makes sense, do you know how crowded Costco was before their shelves were emptied?

4. Hurricanes want to ride Space Mountain too, and now that Florida and 3 other East Coast states are under a state of emergency, Disney World is closed down. Maybe next time, Matthew.

5. In the places where Matthew is going to hit, people are trying to get last minutes supplies before they are stuck inside. Thankfully, some places haven't boarded up their windows and closed yet.

6. Evacuating is so much effort, and like my life’s not going so amazing anyway. Maybe if I was rich and kept my stacks of money under my mattress I would think about it, but for now I’m good at home.

7. Those people who are not taking any chances and have decided to go to shelters inland are probably super mad. How annoyed would you be if this happened to you?

8. Fun fact, Matthew brought along his friend Nicole to mess stuff up. So when Hurricane Matthew is gone, Tropical Storm Nicole will be right behind him.

9. I mean, when they cancel schools and are expecting lots of damage to campuses, us students are actually really thankful to be getting a break. We are kind of glad to see Matthew, it’s okay to admit it.

The dynamics of any friend group are usually determined by the personalities which make it up. 6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.
