Spring break is now long gone and college students across the nation are getting hit hard by the mid-semester slump. With only a handful of weeks until summer break, everyone is crashing and no one wants to make the time to study. The procrastination sets in and it seems like the pile of schoolwork is only getting higher and higher. Whether it is checking Instagram, making food or calling your mom, we all procrastinate our studying at some point or another. Here are the 10 things we all do to procrastinate studying.
1. Watch Netflix
Binge watching Grey's Anatomy counts as studying for my Chem midterm, right?
2. Stalk Social Media
Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter. Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter. (The cycle can go on for hours)
3. Clean Our Rooms
There have been many times where I have deep cleaned my room just to put off the hours of studying ahead of me.
4. Make Food
Nothing like a late night snack to motivate you to study.
5. Online Shop
A new pair of leggings will make me work so much harder on my next Art History midterm.
6. Make Lists
Because I need to make extensive lists of what I have to study for before actually studying.
7. Call Your Family
Why yes Mom I am getting lots of studying done.
8. Plan Your Weekend
Making exciting plans for the weekend will definitely make me want to write this Literature paper due Friday at midnight.
9. Run Errands
Putting off studying to make a target run.
10. Study For Another Class
We've all done it, work on homework for another class even though you really need to study for your Econ test that is at 8 am tomorrow.
