A bucket list is a great way to make goals for yourself if you don't have a bucket list I highly recommend making one. I made one for myself so I can push myself to accomplish all of the things I want to in life. This is just a general list of some things I want to do that I believe a lot of people could relate to.

1. Graduate college

Graduating is the first goal on my list. I think most people in college right now have this same goal. We all know that college is not easy, so graduating is a huge accomplishment. This is why it gets a spot on my bucket list. I don't want to do anything else until I have accomplished this goal.

2. Find my soulmate

I understand that not everyone wants to get married, but I have wanted to get married for as long as I can remember. I'm just so in love with the idea of being able to spend the rest of your life with the person you love.

3. Travel

Whenever you think of a bucket list the first thing that probably comes to mind is traveling. I have never met anyone that doesn't want to travel. What's not to like? I can't wait to be able to travel to different countries and be able to experience different cultures and see amazing things. While the United States is pretty great, we have nothing on the other countries in the world. Some places I want to travel to are Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Australia, and so much more. This is ironic because as I am writing about traveling, I am currently at the airport. I could go on and on about traveling, but I won't bore you.

4. Have kids

Going along with getting married, I understand that not everyone wants to have children. Kids are for sure in my life plan. Having children sounds like such an amazing experience. While it will not be easy, I am ready to take on the challenge of raising children.

5. Do something crazy

I have always been drawn to the idea of someday going bungee jumping, sky diving, or cliff jumping. I see people doing these things all the time and every time I say to myself "I will do that someday". I know I will be very nervous but I know I will feel so accomplished afterward and it will be an experience of a lifetime.

6. Learn how to play an instrument

I have always been drawn to the idea of being able to play an instrument. I would be interested in learning how to play the ukulele or the guitar. It's never too late to learn something new.

7. Volunteer

Helping others is not only a great thing to do, but it will also make you feel like a better person. I'm not saying that you should just volunteer one time to make yourself feel good. Volunteering is something you should do often.

8. Change someone's life

Whether this is just making someone's day or being that person that makes someone's life so much better. I want to be able to say that at some point in my life I was the reason that someone was happy.

9. Be happy

Don't get me wrong, I am so happy with my life right now. I just want to be happy my whole entire life, I am so grateful for everything that I have.

Overall, a bucket list is a great idea. Making goals for yourself makes you work harder so you will be able to achieve these goals some day. Pinterest and Instagram is a great way to get ideas for your own bucket list,

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
