1. You think his “dad jokes” are actually pretty funny. Through the “Dad I’m hungry” “Hi hungry, I’m dad” or the “I’ll be back” “Okay I’ll be Beethoven” jokes.

2. You don’t mind hanging out with your dad. I always have fun hanging out with my dad, no matter what we do. Even it is just sitting at home watching Supernatural together.

3. He’s honest with you. If I ever needed an honest opinion my dad was always the one to tell me. Whether it was about my grades, past boyfriends, or friendships. And I know it was in his best intentions because he wanted me to be strong and not rely on petty, false answers.

4.He’s there for you through every heart break you have had. Through every heart break I’ve been through, my parents have been the ones to help me through it. And especially my dad.

5. He’s always looking out for you. My dad has always been the one to protect me through anything. And will always side with me, if my mom or sister are ever teaming up on me.

6. If mom says no, you know for sure your dad will most likely say yes to you.

7. He’ll always be there for you no matter what. Through the ups and downs I have been through in my life, my dad has always been there for me through all of it.

8. Your dad is your go to mechanic. Usually being the one who is constantly having car troubles, I always know just the guy who can fix it. And that is my dad.

9. He’ll always be the number one man in your life. No man will ever be able to replace my dad’s place in my life. (Sorry to my boyfriend)

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
