Every once in a while, there comes a generation that is superior to all other generations. A generation that experiences the best shows, the best video games, the best toys, the best foods and the best fashion trends. If you were lucky enough to be born sometime in the '90s, then congratulations, you are a part of that generation: you are “a '90s kid." I know, it’s very exciting.

So, without further ado, here are a few things that only my fellow '90s homies can fully appreciate.

1. Saturday morning cartoons were the highlight of your week.

2. Nothing was better than playing "Mario Kart" on your good old Nintendo 64.

3. It was a time when Disney Channel was actually good.

4. And Boyz ‘N Motion was low-key your favorite band.

5. P.E. was the only class you actually looked forward to because of these bad boys.

6. You used this handy method to predict your future.

7. You were the real OG if you brought these to school.

8. Instead of texting, you and your crew passed these around.

9. And these were your very first loves.

Hopefully this article reminded you of a time that holds some of the best years of your childhood. Just remember, you can take the kid out of the '90s, but you can't take the '90s out of the kid! So, here's to the '90s generation, a decade that will forever be in our hearts.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
