I was one of those girls in grade school who hated having thick hair. It was curly and frizzy and I had no idea how to manage it. I always wished it was easier to style. Little did I know that once high school rolled around, my thick hair would disappear and I would be graced with the struggle of thin hair. Now I walk around looking at all the beautiful heads of hair that other girls have.
If you have thin hair, you probably know these nine struggles:
1. People with thick, beautiful hair make you want to crawl in a hole and die.
Listen, just take your nice, thick, luscious manehair somewhere else and leave me alone to sit here with my pathetic exucse for hair.
2. You've looked up every possible "home remedy" to make it better.
Between those magical hair-growing pills to homemade coconut oil overnight masks, you've tried everything under the sun to make your hair thicker, but nothing seems to work.
3. Your dramatic hair flip is significantly less dramatic.
Ugh, darn it. How am I supposed to prove a point if my hair flip isn't perfect?
4. You've cursed Biotin for not working like it's supposed to.
Biotin is basically a hit or a miss. It didn't make my hair any better, but my nails are stronger, so I guess I can't complain too much.
5. You have a limited amount of hairstyles.
At max, you probably only have three everyday hairstyles to work with. Unless you own a wig or extensions.
6. Layers aren't even in the question.
Layers would just make it look like you have less hair, you might as well just shave it all off at that point.
7. Not washing your hair every day is a struggle.
They say you shouldn't wash your hair every day because it washes away the good oils in your hair that can make it stronger and grow, the only problem is your hair gets so greasy by the next day that you can't help but wash it. Dry shampoo only helps so much, people.
8. This is your face when girls with thick hair complain about it:
9. You wonder what you did to deserve hair like this.
Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what I did in my previous life to deserve this hair.
