It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

The 9 Stages Of Winter Break

It finally here! Winter break is actually here! Congratulations for surviving finals!

1. The sweet feeling of freedom.

School's out! It's finally time to go home! You get to see your high school friends!

2. Tasting the first bite of real food.

Because the dining hall food just does not compare to mom's home cooking.

3. Seeing the whole family (again).

It's only been a few weeks since Thanksgiving so there isn't much to catch up on, but you still missed them.

4. Seeing your friends again.

It feels like it's been four months too long. It's time for a fun get together to catch up!

5. Having no responsibilities.

End of semester = no work to do over break!

6. The holidays.

Be it Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or New Years, everyone has something to celebrate.

7. Annoyance.

Things have returned to the way they were before you left. That means your little brother is picking fights and all of your friends are too busy to hang out so you're stuck in the house.

8. Missing the roommate.

It's times like these when you miss being trapped in a room with one person.

9. The countdown returns.

You're excited once again, but why? Once you get back school starts again and you are thrown back into reality, but at this point all you want is to go back. This is just one reason why winter break is one of the many mysteries of college students.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
