I love music as you all know. I get VERY hype when my favorite songs come on. I am also aware that many people listen to music while they study. If you're one of those people, I commend you. I could never. So, instead, I use music as my study break or my reward for studying and/or doing my homework. I also use music as my excuse to avoid my school work but that's a whole other story. Here a few songs for your study playlist, or in my case, study break:

1. "Sober" by Lorde

Honestly, all of "Melodrama" is the best thing t ever happen to me in my lifetime. But for some reason, "Sober" just happens to be my favorite. It's truly a fun one, so add it to your playlist right now!!

2. "Oxygen" by Catfish and The Bottlemen

I have loved Catfish and The Bottlemen since I figured out that they existed. for some reason when I listened to their sophomore record The Ride I wasn't impressed. Now it's my true obsession and "Oxygen" is actually a song about me. It's a song you can't listen to without screaming the lyrics, so maybe this a study break song.

3. "Private Show" by Little Mix

High energy, good harmonies, a solid 10/10 would recommend. Everything Little Mix do is golden and beautiful and truly "Private Show" is a banger. It's also pretty good to hum to if that's something you like to do.

4. "Walls Could Talk" by Halsey

I think the is the strongest contender for good humming on "hopeless fountain kingdom." "Walls Could Talk" has great strings but it also the chorus is very catchy!! I do also simply support everything Halsey does so you cannot go wrong with her.

5. "Agnes" by Glass Animals

I do, in fact, listen to sooo much alternative rock music that it may make a few heads spin. However, this is probably the best alt rock songs I've heard in years, not by one of my already favorite bands. Again, with the humming but it's VERY possible to this song . A perfect study companion 10/10 would recommend.

6. "Daft Pretty Boys" by Bad Suns

Bad Suns have recently become one of my favorite bands because "Disappear Here" is actual gold. "Daft Pretty Boys" may be the catchiest song I've heard in a long time and think it may help you remember how to do that really hard problem in calculus if you listen to it enough times.

7. "Normal Girl" by SZA

"Ctrl" was definitely one of the best albums of the summer. So if you STILL haven't heard "Normal Girl" just download it now, and listen to it now so you still have friends later.

8. "Fashion Week" by Wale ft. G-Eazy

So catchy!!!! Soooo good! Also, "Fashion Week" is not too hype so you won't get off task but the beat is good enough that you'll actually be motivated to finish studying instead of quitting at 10 pm like usual.

9. "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons

Maybe a little too happy for actual studying but definitely incentive to finish studying for your history test early so you can blast "Thunder" loudly in your room on your Bluetooth speaker.

So now, sit down, click the spotify links, and hit play. Oh yeah, and take out ypur notes nad study for that exams becuase thta's the whole reason for this artcile, friend!

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
