9 Songs To Get You Through This Semester

Friends scream as they reunite, professors are lecturing much longer and more monotone than they need to, and the Like it or not, the spring semester is officially upon us. But there are definitely better sounds than those of a stress filled campus. Here are 9 songs to get you through this semester (and a Spotify playlist below to put on repeat)

1. Army (Ellie Goulding)

This song is the perfect to belt out when you're with your best friends. It's about the strong bond of besties and how you can conquer anything.

2. Over My Head (The Fray)

...in homework! This song could basically be sung to your professors instead of a girl.

3. Radioactive (Imagine Dragons)

This empowering song is the perfect to be used to get that aforementioned homework done.

4. I Don't Want to Be (Gavin DeGraw)

What's a playlist without a throwback? Plus it's a good reminder to be yourself, especially in a world that's always trying to change you.

5. The Middle (Jimmy Eat World)

This is for when you're in the middle of the semester. Remember to enjoy the ride and everything will be fine.

6. Daylight (Maroon 5)

This one is for those all-nighters we're gonna have.

7. Teenagers (My Chemical Romance)

For the rebellion in all of us (whether you're still technically a teenager or still one at heart).

8. I Lived (One Republic)

In the middle of all that homework, don't forget to live (and breathe!)

9. Thnks fr th Mmrs (Fall Out Boy)

And finally, this is for all the fun memories you'll make this semester (plus an overused Insta caption).

Enjoy the playlist!

If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
