Whether you're a fan of them or not, the truth is that crocs are everything. I wear mine as often as possible despite the looks of shame and resentment I get from my fellow friends. So why, you might ask, do I continue to wear them if I receive indirect hate?

1. They are wearable during all seasons.

Yes, crocs have holes. Yes, they are still the perfect shoe during the winter. The Crocs company offers a fur-lined shoe that keeps your toes toasty warm, which means there is no excuse for putting them away when summer comes to an end.

2. You can decorate them.

The Jibbitz are arguably the best part about Crocs. I personally decorate mine with Disney characters, but the options are endless.

3. They are SUPER comfy.

The soles are incredibly thick, they are wide, and they are squishy. I have yet to find a comparable pair of kicks to Crocs' comfort. There is no comparison, truly.

4. You can wear them in water.

Looking for a new shower shoe? Don't like going in the ocean without shoes? Crocs are the easiest, most stylish solution. Let's not forget that Crocs even float in water!

5. They come in fun colors.

Crocs literally come in every shade and hue, but if you're looking for a neutral or easily matchable color, you can purchase a pair of white, grey, black, or brown Crocs. Again, no excuses.

6. They are light.

I personally hate when I feel like I hate to lug around my legs all day because of the weight of my shoes. Fortunately, Crocs solve that problem.

7. They are versatile.

You can wear Crocs to an amusement park, in the garden, at the beach, in the shower, or just around the house. What's not to love about them?!

8. Putting them on and taking them off is hassle-free.

Crocs even allow you to slide your feet in and out of them. You don't need to lace or zip anything up, which means you also don't need to bend down to put them on or take them off.

9. You can wear them with or without socks.

Even in the dead of summer, Crocs are wearable with socks. Whatever keeps you most comfortable!

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.
