9 Reasons Why Fall Is The Best

No, I don’t just mean your typical, white girl statement, “Ugg season is coming!”

Fall is one of my favorite seasons for many reasons. Even though it means winter will soon follow and sometimes the snow, bitter cold and bad weather aren't as fun, at least fall can prepare us a little.

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved watching the leaves change color-- it’s really a beautiful thing. Something as small as the leaves changing color goes unappreciated too often. Next time you’re outside take a minute to appreciate the little things.

1. The beautiful leaves changing color.

Because, before you know it, the trees will be bare.

2. Pumpkin season!

No matter how old you get, carving pumpkins is a must.

3. Halloween and Thanksgiving are just around the corner and you know what that means--Christmas isn’t far away!

I still love to get dressed up for Halloween and watch all the Halloween movies like I did when I was younger. Thanksgiving is a great day to spend time with your family and eat until you’re in a food coma.

4. Sweater weather!

As much as I love to wear shorts and flip flops all summer, there’s just something about sweater weather that I look forward to.

5. Pumpkin rolls, candy corn, pumpkin pie, and apple cider.

6. Apple picking!

Just do it.

7. It’s time to wear all your cute boots again!

8. All the leaves crunching under your feet when you walk.

9. It’s not so hot anymore!

So you don’t need to sleep with 4 fans and an air conditioner.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
