Sometimes playing with my dog or seeing her makes me think of her past life and perhaps her reincarnation. I believe in a sense that all life forms can reincarnate. Believing in hinduistic thoughts helps reassure me that this is true. Also, with the new movie coming out in January about a dog who is reincarnated into other dogs makes much sense to me! Nala, my dog, may or could have very well been a dog all her life but to me, she must have feline instincts for a reason. Here we go, a list of 9 reasons why my dog was once an adorable feline. Cats have 9 lives but so does she. I promise you by the end of this you will see exactly why!

My dog was once a cat in her past life because...

1. She curls up into balls when she sleeps

2. She loves laps and will leap to be there or jump up

3. She is fascinated by cat toys and the like

4. She LOVES rubbing herself up against furniture, particularly couches

5. She sheds like a cat and grooms like one, too! She's very fastidious like a cat

6. She never overeats; she takes her time and brings food with her places

7. Laying sprawled out under the sun from a window view is her cup of tea

8. She ignores people and loves to hide in tiny spaces, especially when scared

9. She's bright and alert mostly and wicked smart and silly but also loves sleep at random hours. Very unpredictable but luckily not to me

Even if she isn't a cat from her past life, this sure is an interesting and amusing list to think about when it comes to her! A frisky American Eskimo / miniature American Spitz! Are your pets or friends reincarnations of some sort to you as well? Feel free to express and spread the word!

So there you have it! I hope you all find this as interesting as I do! Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend, guys!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
