While most people look at grocery shopping as a chore, I am personally a huge fan of grocery shopping. It might have to do with my obsession with food, but I enjoy the act of selecting my meals for the next week or two. Today, as I was faced with the task of grocery shopping, I made the decision to go to my absolute favorite store (despite the fact that it takes three times as long to get there as it does to get to the nearby Shaws), Trader Joe's. Nothing makes me feel classier than that island-themed grocery store. Nobody makes me feel as competent yet reliant than those incredible employees. In order to honor my passion for Trader Joe's, I have compiled nine reasons why Trader Joe's is the most wonderful place on Earth.

1. The prices are unreal.
Like most college students, I'm on a pretty tight budget, but I don't have to worry when I shop at Trader Joe's. For one thing, the produce is cheaper than most grocery stores (and it's a lot fresher too).
2. Impulse purchases are so real.
Proof that Trader Joe's is a candy store for adults.
3. The free samples.
Free food AND coffee. My dream.
4. The floral section.
Most bouquets cost around $5.00. How is that even possible?!
5. THIS chicken.
I have no words.
6. Trader Joe's pays their employees really well.
And they deserve it! They're all so friendly!
7. They use bells rather than a loudspeaker system.
Because the stores are so small, it works perfectly and it's much quainter.
8. WINE!

9. Come on, $2.99 for a bottle?!
