As Teen Wolf gets ready to come to an end, it's hard not to reflect back on all the characters that helped us fall in love with the show. It's amazing to see the difference 6 seasons make, and how our favorite characters changed. It's no secret that Lydia Martin, played by Holland Roden, is one of the best the show has ever known. Here are 9 reasons to love Lydia Martin.

1. She basically invented character development

From the popular girl who only dated jerks and pretended not to be smart, to an intelligent woman who stands up for herself and does good with her pack. Season 1 Lydia has come a long way.

2. She learned to be strong on her own

Lydia used to run and cry anytime life got hard. She used to cover up her pain with makeup and a fake smile, but now she proudly wears her scars and keeps her head held high.

3. She doesn't have too much patience

One of my favorite things about Lydia is her ability to be upfront, honest, and even brutal. She'll let you know if you're being ridiculous and or if she doesn't like what you're saying.

4. Sarcasm is her second language

Again, Lydia isn't around to play games. Her use of sarcasm isn't meant to make someone laugh, but to remind them that she isn't stupid and won't put up with anything she doesn't have to.

5. She's protective of her pack

Look no further when it comes to loyalty. Lydia, as only a banshee with no super strength, constantly puts herself in harms way to protect the people she loves. So bad-ass.

6. She's brutally honest

I can't say it enough, Lydia loves being up front. I guess the fact that she lays it all out there and says what's on her mind is what I love most about her. Don't ever put anything past this woman.

7. She is a hair and fashion icon

Every episode Lydia is ready to serve up a LOOK. Always flawless and always killing it. If only I dressed and looked like she did in high school, I would land me a Stiles Stilinski too.

8. She's the best banshee you've ever known

Remember when little Lydia had no idea what she was and what she could do? How cute and innocent. Now she can shatter windows and even blow off heads with just a scream.

9. And the best character you know

There's no denying it, Lydia Martin is a character for the ages. Can't even begin to explain how mighty this woman is and how life-changing she's been over the pasty 6 seasons.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
