This November, we'll see Disney's newest princess, Moana, making her first appearance in the theaters! This movie has been in production before Frozen was even an idea, and it is predicted to be just as big of a hit. Although Disney is keeping the plot of the movie on the down low, some information has been discovered; Moana lives on an island in the South Pacific! This time around, Disney has paid close attention to Polynesian culture and history, determined not to make any mistakes. They've even strayed from their typical princess body type and ball gowns, making Moana one of a kind.

1. She has a pet pig named Pua and a pet chicken!

2. She bends the water! (Either that or the water is an actual character in the movie, but both would be amazing)

3. She's not your everyday princess!

Moana is the chief's daughter and doesn't sport the typical Disney Princess ball gown!

4. SHE CAN SAIL A BOAT!

5. Her mission is to discover far away islands her family has searched for centuries before her, which is pretty BA if you're asking me!

6. She and Maui, a demigod, are BFF goals!

7. Maui is voiced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

8. She's being voiced by the cutest 14-year-old Auli'i Cravalho! Who is actually from Hawaii!

9. She represents yet another culture in the Disney Princesses!

10. She's just plain awesome!

Be sure to check out Moana in theaters on November 23, 2016!
