Even in 2017, females would be lying if we said we weren't obsessed with George Strait. For some of us, he's old enough to be our dad, but he's still completely irresistible. Here are nine reasons why we love this man.

1. Exhibit A

The smile, the white stetson, the button down shirt, the eyes; admit it, your melting into your shoes.

2. Or this one

Genuine proof that things do only get better, or in his case, better looking with age.

3. With his son

That moment you realize that his son is just as attractive as he is. Country Music: Giving women high expectations of men since the beginning of forever.

4. This one

The hat, the hand perfectly situated in his pocket, or the gold belt buckle, you're drooling.

5. Okay, time to be real; his music is timeless

I think every person, no matter if you like country music or not, you've probably heard songs like "Amarillo By Morning" , or "Check Yes Or No" at least once on the radio. Those songs are somewhat older now, and they never seem to get old.

6. He and his wife: goals

They got married in 1971 and are still going strong. I'm pretty sure there's a part of every female who wants a love like this!

8. His song lyrics are the best

Every single one, they are the best lyrics ever. Who doesn't fall in love anytime when one of his songs comes on the radio?

9. The last one for all posterity... he, his son and his grandson

This Oklahoma girl has a thing for Oklahoma Boys, but I think Texas Boys are a strong second. I'll let you all decide for yourselves!

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
