When I was in middle school and it was summer, a popsicle was the perfect addition to a hot day. Never did I think I would be writing an article about popsicles when I was eating them in middle school, but here are nine popsicles that every 2000s middle schooler was addicted to:

1. The Push Up Pop

These were honestly my favorite. They tasted good and were fun to eat. However, when the box only has six popsicles in it and you have two brothers, you never got that many.

2. The Bomb Pop

I think I ate these every fourth of July. Not only did me and my friends enjoy these on that celebration, but I swear my friends always had them in their freezer and we ate them all the time. Three flavors in one popsicle were the way to go.

3. Flavor Ice Pops

I used to eat these a ton, and I still eat these a ton. I remember having a freezer drawer full of them, and dreading the day when you couldn't find scissors to cut the top open. Let's just say that these popsicles are freaking great. They are also my boyfriend's favorite.

4. The Popsicles With Jokes On The Stick

Eating these was fun because after you finished the popsicle, you got to laugh at a joke. Although these jokes were honestly not too funny, it was still fun to see what the stick said when the popsicle was gone.

5. The Popsicles With Two Sticks

Because two sticks are better than one. I always broke these apart and ate them as two separate popsicles. Two sticks meant two popsicles, and as a middle schooler, I loved that. The more the merrier.

6. Scribblers

These popsicles are so fun! I remember watching the commercials for these as I watched cartoons and other tv shows with my brothers. Eating them was even better than the advertisements for them

7. Rainbow Pops

These tasted really good. Well, some of them. I always ate the red and blue, and let my brothers eat the yellow and green ones.

8. The Orange, Grape, and Cherry Popsicles

All of these tasted good. I think I eat these more recently now than I did in middle school... but still.

And, lastly...

9. The Original Popsicle

They came in many different flavors and on one stick. I remember eating theses at pool parties when I was in middle school. Let's just admit that these are and will always be a classic.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
