I have about four hairstyles which I rotate between day to day, the most complicated of which takes about ten minutes to do. Odds are you don't spend a ton of time on your hair every day either. But sometimes it can be fun to get crazy and go totally out of the box with your hairstyle. In a strange way I have a lot of admiration for people who can pull of crazy hairstyles every day. Here are some examples of those people and their crazy work.
1. This hairstyle that kind of looks like a Disney animated movie
I can't tell if that's a badger or a bear, but either way I'm impressed. You might even get an actual bird nesting up there at some point.
2. This mohawk that is also a dragon
Bonus points for the googly eyes. And the super precise dye job; they even outlined the feet.
3. This hairdo that is also a helicopter
How long do you think it took to put this one together? And how uncomfortable do you think it is? I know they say art is pain, and I guess in this case at least they're right.
4. This hairstyle that you will need some, um...supplies in order to do
If you want to wear this one you're going to need a lot of braids. And several packs of extensions. And..also a guitar. And a person who is capable of balancing a guitar covered in hair on top of their head. If you plucked the strings could you play a song?
5. This hairdo that will probably need more than one pair of hands to make happen
I can't decide what ear this is from. Is it punk, grunge, eighties, retro? I have no clue. In any case you'd better break out the scrunchies and the teasing comb.
6. This garden-themed hairstyle that you will also need some special supplies to make happen
I have no idea what occasion you would wear something like this for, but I'm pretty impressed. That's commitment right there. And this kid looks like he knows it.
7. I found this one on a website called "crazy hairstyles for short hair" so apparently short haired people can still do this?
You'll probably need some paper towel rolls. Or something. Also be careful of poking someone in the eye...
8. Bonus points for the parent/child combo who came up with this
This one wouldn't even be that hard. You'd just need a headband and a solo cup and root beer bottle with a few strategically placed holes.
9. This person who took the Halloween hairstyle to a whole new level
I'm pretty impressed by the person who created this pattern presumably with a pair of clippers. Well done, you.
These people are hair pioneers. I applaud your efforts. men and women who are forging the hairstyle frontier.
