Personally speaking, Mark Hamill is one of my most favorite actors. A lot of people probably know him as Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars franchise, while to others, he is known for voicing The Joker in several Batman cartoons and video games.

With that being said, let's take a look at some of the things Hamill has said that was either completely savage, relatable or just made him seem more awesome in general.

1. "You know how there are some stars out there who know how to market themselves? I don't have that."

As one who creates content myself, I can relate to this on a spiritual level. It's nice to know Mark and I have something in common. But hey, we all have room for improvement, right?

2. "I have failed 'Star Wars' trivia tests. People come up to me at conventions and use terms that I've never heard of."

I've seen only a few of the "Star Wars" movies. While I know enough about "Star Wars" to hold a small, lighthearted conversation about it, I can now be at ease knowing Luke Skywalker himself also doesn't even know Star Wars lingo.

3. "I debated in high school! If you told things that weren't true or just made things out of whole cloth, you were penalized. It's too bad they don't apply the same standards to presidential candidates as they do to high school student."

I'm just gonna leave that there. *sips tea* But really, though. I find it disappointing that, even today, a high school debate student is held to a higher standard than a presidential candidate for the United States.

4. "I love the fact that, one time, my face was on the back of a cereal box — probably C-3PO's — and it was a mask where you cut out the eye holes and put a string through the side. It makes me feel like I'm 11 years old all over again."

It's been said there's a kid in all of us. I believe this quote shows us a more playful side of Hamill. He was also able to convince us that he could pull off C-3PO.

5. "So much of life is what you roll and where you land."

Every choice you make in life has an outcome whether it's good or bad. For some reason, this quote makes me think of Monopoly or Dungeons and Dragons. Which could make for a good metaphor of life.

6. "People think being remembered most for one character is a negative thing, but I don't. I never expected to be remembered for anything!"

Boy, can some of us relate. But all silliness aside, I completely agree with Hamill here. I mean come on, he played one of the most iconic movie characters of all time. There's nothing wrong at all for being remembered just for that.

7. "I live in sort of an insular world. It's mostly my family, my house, staying home and working."

As someone who identifies as a complete homebody, I can for sure relate to this. These days, my circle remains small, and my life basically revolves around school, family, and my cats.

8. [On Twitter] "My favorite part of #TheForceAwakens was in the credits where they spelled my name correctly.

My name occasionally gets misspelled "Johannah" instead of "Johanna." So it's definitely a relief when people spell my name right the first time without asking me to spell it out for them. *eye roll emoji*

9. "The idea of The Force is basically 'Religions Greatest Hits'."

This one really got me thinking. If you think about it, The Force is pretty much the religion of the galaxy. While it is meant to be used for good, there are sometimes where people use it for evil. Much like they do religion.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
