As someone who has struggled (and still do) with a lot of anxiety and stress, I needed to find something that would calm me down when I was in a stress-inducing situations. After my friend showed me a fidget toy, I was hooked. It had a weird, rubberized texture, and after I started playing with it, I didn't even realize I was moving it. I was super calm and I was able to concentrate way better. Here are a few of the many fidget toys out there meant to calm you down and kill time through the sense of touch. And don't just stop at this list, keep looking around to find the stress toy that suits you!

1. Tangle Toy

This one is actually the one I own. This toy has a rubber texture with bumps, and it spins at every joint. The joints can also be detached and reattached, so you can change the color pattern however you like. It is also available in several different colors and thicknesses. Amazon.com | $9.95

2. Fidget Dice

These fidget dice offer six different fidget options to choose from. You can click, flick and roll your fingers over the six sides for different sensations, perfect for restless hands. It's small (1.3 in x 1.3 in x 1.3 in) and is also offered in different colors and shapes—there's even one with 12 sides!. Just keep in mind that, while it is small and accessible, it does make some noise, so it may not be as inconspicuous as you'd like it to be. Amazon.com | $4.30

3. Tri-spinner

This little guy is great if you like spinning things. It fits into the palm of your hand and you hold it in the middle, spinning it with your other hand. All you have to do is keep it spinning, and the stress slowly drifts away. There are several versions of the spinner so choose the one that's right for you. Amazon.com | $5.45

4. Sensory Roller Toy

This roller toy is made of an acrylic tube with an eye screw so it can be attached to keychains and such. The top is flat and can be rolled around like you're screwing in a screw. It's tiny and fits in your hand easily and makes no noise. Amazon.com | $13.95

5. My Fidget Friend

These toys are like those Chinese finger traps we'd get our fingers stuck in when we were kids except they're closed on both ends and have a ball inside. You can manipulate the mesh to move the ball around on the inside. This toy gives both hands something to work on while you destress. Amazon.com | $9.29

6. Flippy Chain

These interlocking chains are meant to be messed around with all day. They're connected in a way that makes it possible to manipulate them in several different ways. The silicone bands around the middle come in different colors and add another sensation for you to enjoy. Amazon.com | $9.95

7. Ring Spinner

The base of this ring is attached to a loose band, which spins while you twirl it around your finger. These bands come in all sorts of different colors and are great ways to fashionably wear your fidget toy as an accessory. There are several different takes on this toy, with some rings having more than one spinning band and some bands with different textures. Choose your ring size and fidget away. Amazon.com | $9.75

8. Soybean Stress Reliever

My favorite out of all the others is this soybean stress reliever. It's a little keychain with a pouch containing three soybeans that you can push out with the tips of your fingers whenever you're feeling overwhelmed or anxious. The middle bean even has a little face to cheer you up! Amazon.com | $11.98

9. Spiky Fidget Ring

These fidget rings are about four inches wide and fit in the palm of your hand. They're quiet and great for tactile stimulation. Play with these guys for a little while and you will soon forget all about your stress. Amazon.com | $12.99

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
