Although it isn’t one of the three major meals of the day, dessert should never be skipped. Whether it’s sour or sweet, you can fulfill your cravings in many places all over Orange County. It is a perfect way to spend time with your friends and beat the summer heat as well. Here are some of my favorite places that you should definitely try soon!

1. Bruxie

This restaurant is known for their chicken and waffles, but the “Smores” waffle with dark Belgian chocolate is delicious.

2. Afters

A doughnut filled with ice cream. Need I say more?

3. Sprinkles Ice Cream

They cut a Sprinkles Cupcake in half and put a scoop of ice cream in the middle!

4. Milk Bar

You can customize ice cream sandwiches! The cookie options are fantastic.

5. Creamistry

Ice cream is cool and all, but here they make it right in front of you using liquid nitrogen!

6. Creme & Sugar

This is a cute little dessert shop which sells a whole variety of desserts from cakes to shakes.

7. Snow Station

Imagine shaved ice, but with frozen yogurt. Yum!

8. Snow Monster

Macarons are good, but they are even better when made into ice cream sandwiches.

9. M&M Donuts

Your life won’t be the same after you try one of their blueberry donuts.

10. Popbar

Located in the hipster Anaheim Packing House, these yummy popsicles will often have a line out the door.

11. Campitelli Cookies

Often warm, and never stale!

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
