I was scrolling through Facebook and almost every post I read was either about #BlackLivesMatter or #AllLivesMatter. It seems that everyone is quick to hate and point fingers, and no one is willing to take the blame or forgive one another. It is tiring reading the same headlines day after day and seeing nothing change. As I continued scrolling, I read a post that said, "I wonder what Bob Marley would have to say about this whole racial issue going on."
Bob Marley is one of my top favorite artists - his music takes me to a happy place. If you haven't listened to any of his songs, you need to ASAP.
After thinking about what he would have to say about current events, I googled Bob Marley quotes and found some that everyone should read and try to remember when found in a place of hate:
1. Don't Worry
2. Be Strong
3. Flee From the Hate
4. Everyone Is Going to Hurt You
5. Don't Judge
6. Overcome With Love
7. Spread Positivity
8. We Are All Equals
9. Don't Forget Where You Came From or Where You're Going
Although Bob Marley might not be here today to comment on everything that's happening in our world, his legacy says enough: one love.
