There comes a time in everyone’s life where they regret the decisions they made their past, they stress over the present, and they fear what their future holds. For many this proves to be a time of great internal strain and conflict. Subsequently, for those who trust in the Lord, these times can very easily result in the questioning of your faith. However, when your trust begins to falter I urge your to remember these few verses from our Holy Bible.
For the Past
“The healthy do not need a doctor; sick people do. I have not come to invite the self-righteous to a change of heart, but sinners” - Mark 2:17
“Remember not the events of the past, the things of long ago consider not” - Isaiah 43:18
No one is a lost cause in the eyes of God.
Therefore do not live with the regrets of your past.
For the Present
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you “ - Peter 5:7
“Pray more, worry less” - Matthew 6:34
“Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous” - Joshua 10:25
“Entrust your works to the Lord, and your plans will succeed” - Proverbs 16:3
No one is without God’s love and guidance.
Therefore do not stress over the present.
For the Future
“Jesus replied, ‘You do not realize now what I am doing, but later’ you will understand” - John 13:7
“There is an appointed time for everything, and a times for every affair under the heavens” - Ecclesiastes 3:1
“For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” - Jeremiah 29:11
No one is forgotten or overlooked by God.
Therefore do not fear what will happen in your future.
We were not created to fail in life. We were created to be great and to love and to achieve salvation. We were created in God's image.
