9 Best Online Shopping Websites

After checking out the websites on this list, you'll have items in your cart quicker than you can say "RIP wallet."

1. Tobi
This is by far my favorite online store to shop from. It’s hard to resist the lure of a whopping 50 percent off your entire order when you first sign up, combined with free shipping and returns on all orders. Tobi frequently has “50 percent off your entire order” sales, and you can get 50 percent off if you invite five of your friends to sign up, too. This site is addicting with its clothing that ranges from hot going out dresses to comfy cute lounge-wear, so be careful or you’ll end up spending $515 in no time (not like I know from personal experience…).

2. Lulus
Lulus is my second favorite online shopping store. It’s similar to Tobi, minus the free shipping and killer initial sign up discount. However, you still can get 10 percent off of any order when you subscribe to their email list and free shipping on orders over $50. This site sells a variety of cute clothing, shoes, and accessories, perfect for girls in their 20s.

3. Piperlime

This online retail store was founded by the same people who created Gap, but this ain’t yo mama’s clothing. Piperlime is like Gap’s chic older sister with much a trendier and preppy style. It’s a bit pricier than other online stores on this list, but it has great sales, making the clothes and shoes more affordable. You’ll also get 30 percent off one item when you first sign up.

4. Fabletics
Kate Hudson co-founded this website that sells stylish athletic wear at an affordable price. When you first sign up for Fabletics you can take a quick lifestyle quiz that picks out which types of workout clothes will best suit you. If you sign up for the free VIP program, you can get an entire outfit (tights, top, and sports bra) for just $25! Spending that much money at Lululemon would probably only get you enough material to cover one thigh. Another bonus from Fabletics is shipping is free for your first order and free for every order over $50 after.

5. ASOS
One thing that sets ASOS apart from a lot of other online clothing websites is that it’s based in the UK. It is the UK’s largest independent online fashion and beauty retailer, so its huge variety of clothing, jewelry, and shoes all have a bit of a unique European flair to them. This website offers free shipping on orders of $25 or more and occasionally offers “students get 20 percent off” deals.

6. Nasty Gal
This site has some great dresses for sorority and fraternity formals or for going out. Some of the clothing may not appeal to everyone because it’s a bit more on the edgy/trendy/hipster side, but if that’s what you’re into then shop away! You can get free shipping on orders of $75 or more and free returns for store credit, otherwise there is a handling and processing fee of $5.99 to refund your credit or debit card.

7. heels.com
This awesome online shoe store helps narrow your shoe search by giving you categories like color, size, style, brand, and trend. Another benefit to this site is it offers frequent sales, discounts, and free shipping and returns depending on the week. You’ll also get 20 percent off your first order when you sign up.

8. Gilt
Once you sign up and become a Gilt member you’ll have access to many top designer labels like Kendra Scott, Kate Spade, and Hudson Jeans to name a few, at up to 60 percent off retail price. Talk about a great deal.

9. Moddeals
Now I’ll admit, this isn’t the cutest of the online stores on the list so you may have to search a little harder, but you absolutely cannot beat these prices. The most expensive shoes are only $16 and the dresses average around just $11! If you’re ballin’ on a budget and have some free time, look through this site. It offers flat rate shipping for $6.99, and even though it’s not free shipping, it’s still worth it because of how inexpensive everything is.

Online shopping tip: If you’ve made it to the end of this article without having quit reading yet in order to start shopping, I’ll let you in on a little secret. What a lot of people don’t realize about online shopping is that it is so easy to find a discount coupon online to save money. All you have to do is google search “coupon for” and the name of the store you’re shopping on and voila! Coupon websites will show up with discount and promotional codes for that store. All you need to do is enter that code during checkout and the discount will be applied to your order! It doesn’t work every time, but it’s definitely worth a shot. It has worked about 50 percent of the time for me and I’ve gotten discounts ranging from free shipping to 50 percent off my entire order.

Happy online shopping, ladies!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
