The animal kingdom is filled with amazing creatures, most of which are illegal to have as pets. But how cool would it be if you could piggyback on your dependable elephant or have a tiger as your BFF? No matter how big or small, all of these animals will undoubtedly have your boring "human" friends want to take a pic with #cute.

1. The Majestic Golden Tiger

Everyone knows about the Bengal Tiger. But this beautiful animal is the tiger version of all those fat tabby cats you see on those viral videos. With this cat, your dreams of becoming Jasmine from Aladdin would become true with a much snazzier twist.

2. The Arctic Fox

Just look at its face! The Arctic Fox is native to the arctic regions of the northern hemisphere, so if you'd either have to freeze your butt off there or have a really strong AC. But no doubt, we would all sacrifice our summers just to have this beauty by our side.

3. Sea Otters

Living most of their lives on the ocean, these marine teddy bears are super important to all marine life. Besides that fact, you would have to get a pretty big fish tank to house these mischievous, cuddly animals. I mean look at that subtle dab!

4. Elephants

Featured in Dumbo, the Jungle Book, and countless other movies, elephants have an almost regal, but caring aura around them. Like the otters, they are also a keystone species in Africa. But how awesome would it be to take your elephant as your daily work commute?

5. The Little Penguin

Believe it or not, these flightless birds have an average about 33 centimeters in height, never really growing out of their baby stage. Happy Feet would have been so much better with these penguins as the stars. Just keep them away from your arctic fox though.

6. The Rhino

As a result from hunting, these awesome looking creatures are endangered. However, we are hopeful to revitalize their population. From a pet owners perspective though, wouldn't you just want a rhino purely to get rid of those pesky neighbors? Wait, what?

7. Giant Pandas

So much to say about these chubby creatures. Even though some say they are an "evolutionary failure", I believe their adorable faces kept them alive for this long. Due to the emotional weakness of humans, these bears will live as long as the Kung Fu Panda franchise, which to reiterate, will never die. Stay strong Po!

8. Sea Turtles

You probably first learned about these creatures from Nemo, but their populations are decreasing drastically every year. However, great conservation efforts are in place, so numbers will hopefully increase. As pets though, it would be amazing to have a wall tank, like in aquariums, to marvel at these birds of the sea.

9. The Buff Kangaroo

These balls of fur on pogo-sticks are so adorable and curious looking, especially the joeys. However, they have so much muscle from jumping around, that they would be best suited as pets for Olympians or body-builders.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
