Two weeks into summer vacation and three seasons of "Gossip Girl" have already been conquered. Along with six new boards on Pinterest.

As lovely as spending every waking moment behind a computer is, here are 83 different things you can do for fun instead.

  1. Go for a walk.
  2. Make a new recipe.
  3. Read a new book.
  4. Reread an old book.
  5. Call an old friend.
  6. Star gaze.
  7. Try to teach yourself and instrument. (Dollar Store Recorders, holla.)
  8. Try a new recipe.
  9. Attempt yoga.
  10. Take a bubble bath.
  11. Paint a canvas.
  12. Try to learn a new language, or at least some phrases (Spotify has options under “Words”)
  13. Make a cake.
  14. Make cupcakes.
  15. Make a giant cupcake-cake.
  16. Explore a new part of town.
  17. Go for a hike.
  18. Go shopping and do not actually buy anything.
  19. Learn to use chopsticks.
  20. Go for a drive with the windows down and the music too loud.
  21. Volunteer.
  22. Visit the animal shelter and pet the dogs.
  23. Climb a tree.
  24. Climb a mountain.
  25. Give yourself a make over.
  26. Give yourself a manicure and a pedicure.
  27. Write a poem.
  28. Write a book.
  29. Pick flowers.
  30. Try meditating.
  31. Write a hand written letter to an aunt, uncle, grandpa, friend, teacher, or anyone!
  32. Reorganize your closet.

  47. Make amends with any old enemies.
  48. Wake up early and watch the sunrise.
  49. Join a local club.
  50. Clean your room and donate the things you do not need.
