My mother blessed me with a thorough education into what the eighties childhood was like for her. The fashion was loud, the music was electric, and the movies were entertainment gold! Lazy days in the Mitchell household were spent watching John Hughes movies, admiring Meg Ryan and Molly Ringwald and doing chores to Madonna CDs. Indeed, I was given an amazing insight into what her childhood and the majority of my favorite movies aren't from the 00s, they're from the 80s.
