With midterms comes great stress. Projects, essays, and tests are filling up your time and your brain feels like it's about to explode. Sometimes all you need is a break. Just a few minutes to yourself to think, relax and not worry about anything else in the world. So, to help you out, here are 8 things you can do to deal with your stress.

1. Take a hot bath/shower

The hot water will help relax your tense muscles, giving you more relaxation and less stress.

2. Go for a walk/run

Working out is one of the best ways to beat stress. If possible, go outside and work out, the fresh air will help immensely.

3. Hang out with your friends

Don't use this as an excuse to procrastinate, but just take some time to chat with your friends, get food or watch a movie. Being around people you care about helps you de-stress.

4. Listen to some music

Plug in your headphones and just listen to your favorite tunes. Hum along, dance along or have an entire performance, whatever helps you relax.

5. Try yoga/meditation

All the stretching and deep breaths will calm you down and help you get rid of that stress in no time.

6. Try an adult coloring book

If you loved coloring as a kid, who is to say you can't enjoy it as an adult?! Break out those crayons and color away!

7. Read a book

If you hate reading, this might not be the best option for you. However, if you do enjoy reading a good book, take some time alone and read a few chapters.

8. Eat

Sometimes all you need is a cookie or a pizza to help you feel better. If that's the case, go for it and eat away!

Now, go out there and relax. Good luck!

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
