After a while, dates to the movies and dinner are kinda overrated. I want to live like the Bachelorette! Where is my helicopter to take me to another city for the day, or my eight-person hot tub in the middle of a desert with a nice bottle of Chardonnay? (oh that rhymed!)

Now, I completely understand that the heat can tend to hold us back from our incredible dates, leaving us with sitting in a movie or at the dinner table as our only option, but I am here today to help you! Just think of me as the new and improved Chris Harrison: ASU edition!

1. Road Trip Up North

It's about that time of year again! Head up north while the weather is still warm and skies are clear and get your cuddling on to stay warm before anyone else can down here in Tempe. A good idea is to find a little campsite in Sedona, it's cheaper than a hotel, and if you want to get really adventurous go even more north to Flagstaff. My fellow Californians, brace yourself, this is a cold like no other.

2. Tempe Town Lake

Stop having sedentary dates and get physical! There is so much
to do here at the lake now that the water it back. There is everything from
renting kayaks, bikes, and paddleboarding, to running, walking, or enjoying a nice sunset picnic on the lake!

3. Concert/Music Festival

You like electronic music? So do I!?! Going to such a big school calls in a lot of the music festivals. Just recently we had Mad Decent Block Party, which was a blast, and the big one coming up this New Year's Eve is Decadence which will be a prime date location. A bit expensive, but what a night to remember and maybe you will get your New Year's kiss.

4. Sports Game

Didn't know if you knew this, but we are pretty big on sports here at Arizona State. Take your date from the dining hall to the stadium... plus it's free. Basically, ASU is giving you a free date to have a great time with your boo and to rage with sun devil spirit!

5. Pool Hopping

Tempe comes with lots of students, which means lots of apartments, which means an unlimited supply of POOLS! Hit up The District, 922, The Hub, and West 6th! Grab your towel, swim trunks, and don't forget that sunscreen, and head to heaven! This is a great way to get a nice tan and talk about life with your love!

6. Sugar Bowl

Got a sweet tooth? Take your sweetie and head over to Sugar Bowl in Old Town Scottsdale! Share delicious desserts and bond over the sweetness! Not only is it amazing, but think about the Instagram opportunities!

7. Drive-In Movie

Drive in and brace yourself to dive into the past with old traditions. Head to Glendale to see any movie your heart desires. Take your significant other, popcorn, and blankets and get your movie watching on. It is a perfect date idea because you can cuddle up with your boo in the privacy of your own car!

8. Odysea Aquarium

The biggest aquarium in the southwest just opened, the Odysea Aquarium, and you know what that means! Go see some Dories and Marlins and you make your way through the abyss of the sea! Take your date, and your Sun Devil card (for the discount) and enjoy everything the ocean has to offer from seals to sharks to sea turtles!

I hope these will inspire you to take risks and finally leave the dinner table and move on to bigger and better things (dates)! Thank you for reading this season of Bachelorette Date Inspo and I hope to see you soon!

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
